Mr President, you do not have the authority on your own or by the power of the UN or NATO to use the US Military without congressional approval unless we are attacked. In my opinion you have already committed a an impeachable act by using the military in Libya without congressional approval. Your own Vice President and yourself have said many times in the past that the President must get Congressional Approval before using the military.
I am also totally amazed by the silence of the anti-war left and the rest of your supporters who considered Bush a criminal and he got congressional approval. Bush was completely wrong for what he did in Iraq and the continued war in Afghanistan and you even voiced your opinion on these yourself. You are completely wrong in using our military for any purpose other than in defense, especially without congressional approval. As a constitutional scholar you are proving yourself to be a complete idiot when it comes to understanding the constitution.
As with Iraq, there is no legitimate reason for us to go into Syria, there is no threat to this country or to any allies from Syria. Syria is nothing more than a threat to itself and its people. UK,France and Turkey have already taken it upon themselves to say publicly that the UN should do something and the UN should with countries in that region if it feels it should. The US should stay out of it, because in the end whatever happens, the US will then be blamed for the outcome.
