Who is John Galt?

I am so happy to see that the sales of Ayn Rand's book Atlas Shrugged is exploding. So I am writing today to ask that if you have not had the privilege to read Atlas Shrugged then please go get yourself a copy and see for yourself how good a book it is. You may also be surprised that a book written over 50 years ago is mimicking the world of today in almost complete accuracy.

I have read the book 3 times and have listened to the audio book at least another 3 times.

Here are some youtube links related to Atlas Shrugged:

Busy..Busy...

Well I haven't posted in a while and this isn't much of a post either. Been very busy with work and all that that I haven't had the time to sit down and write down my thoughts on whats going on in the world.

Lets see we now have a new president in office, who I swear wants to destroy this country and everything it stands for. One needs to be curious of a so called constitutional scholar who appears to not understand what the constitution is and what it stands for. If anything the statement that "It is only government that can break the vicious cycle" when referring to the financial mess, that it created by the way, should scare the average American (but I don't think it does).

The democrats passed the largest spending bill in history. Yes I said spending because that is exactly what it is. They are now going to push through a bill to reward all the people who should not have gotten a loan or who now find themselves unable to afford the loan they got for their homes. Of course people like me who decided against getting a bad loan will now have to pay for being smart. Should I ask for a bailout also since I built up a large amount of debt? Of course not since that is my responsibility. I say screw anybody who gets helped out by any bailout.

Oh yea and the people that own homes now and pay their mortgage on time will end up getting even more screwed in the end. Think about it for a moment, your neighbor is bailed out and the market for houses goes up. Your neighbor not only got the government bailout but they now benefit more than you do when the housing prices go up. Now that seems very fair doesn't it.

To sum up my fears here, I think that Obama is purposely trying to destroy more of capitalism and make people more reliant on the government. Since the more poor and uneducated people there are the more they will vote for government help at the cost of enslaving the hard working people. Remember that taxes are forced out of people with the threat of violence by the government. When 5% of the population is forced to support the other 95% there is something very worng morally wrong with that, if not un-american.

Ayn Rand says it best in the folloing quote.
Individual rights are not subject to a public vote; a majority has no right to vote away the rights of a minority; the political function of rights is precisely to protect minorities from oppression by majorities (and the smallest minority on earth is the individual). Ayn Rand
I now leave you with Harry Reid making a complete fool out of himself.

Bailout Blitz

As I sit here and write this they are discussing bailing out the Auto industry. This is disgusting and I think the CEO's of these companies should be ashamed of themselves. They just received a small bailout just about a month ago before the Wall street bailout and now they need more.

Doesn't anybody realize that this is a black hole. It cost roughly $2k per car for just the benefits for the employees of the Auto Industry. For years the Unions and Management have raped these industries to the point that we are at now. Why should we bail them out again and again. Yes jobs are at risk and maybe they should let these companies join together and put their combined resources together instead. These companies have had the opportunity for many years to fix the problems and create better cars and better factories.

I find it interesting that companies like Toyota, Honda, and others do not have these same problems here in the US.

Of course this does not excuse the government since fuel standard and some environmental laws have also helped contribute to this problem, but not as much as their own stupidity.

So after all this I have decided that if the American Auto Industry takes a bailout I will make sure I will not purchase another car by Ford, GM, or Chrysler. I have been a big supporter of American cars but this bailout is not American and I won't help to reward them or support socialism by giving them my money. I will most likely purchase my first foreign car if this bailout goes through and that is sad.

As for Wall street I am still trying to figure out how to avoid that and who to punish. I believe in wall street but I need to figure out who I should invest in and who I shouldn't when all the dust clears. I can guarantee that I will not contribute to any company that took a bailout or a bank that has.

Are you an American?

Over the past year I have seen my Candidates whom I supported to run for president trampled on, ignored by the press and legally suppressed at every angle.

I do no believe that our Representative government is working anymore and I am coming to the realization that the only thing that would bring it back is to do as our forefathers had done and fight for it (see Deceleration of Independence).

Any support for the Republican or Democrat in the next election in my eyes and others is to be considered Un-American since neither party has shown that it supports this country and the Constitution that it is founded on. So for every person that votes for a Republican and Democrat they are doing the following:
  • They are in essence voting for the end of America and everything it stands for.
  • They are voting for the unconstitutional take over and bail outs of American Businesses.
  • They are voting for the taking of hard earned money of all people to use at their own discretion.
  • They are voting for the support for larger unconstitutional social programs.
  • They are voting for parties that work together to keep out real honest Change of bringing back the Constitution.
  • They are voting to allow government take overs of private institutions.
  • They are voting to lower the actual value of our dollar.

Of course I wrote this piece because of the following information.

And now the following quote from the Texas Attorney General who has used our troops as pawns in support of law that they would have no problem using to stop a third party candidate from getting on the ballot:

"Undeniably the Constitution of the United States protects the right of all qualified citizens to vote." In that spirit, the State of Texas opposes any threat to the rights of military service members to receive, case, and return ballots from abroad. The Motion for Emergency Stay filed by Relators Bob Barr, Wayne Allyn Root, and the Libertarian Party of Texas presents precisely this threat, in asking this Court to stop the mailing of ballots to our men and women in uniform around the globe. This Court should deny the Motion and protect the constitutional rights of military voters.

Maybe the Attorney General of Texas should follow its own rules and understand that the 2 major candidate themselves have created the situation of the troops not being able to vote for them because they did not follow the rules. But I am sure he would no problem denying the constitutional rights of them to vote if it were a third party who didn't follow the rules. How hypocritical and typical of our fascist friends in Texas and other states that have challenged other parties from getting on the ballots. Come to think of it maybe he has something there. Maybe third party candidates can use the same argument in other states in their fight for ballot access.

I can tell you that from the beginning I knew that this fight in Texas was lost because there is no such thing as honest laws any more. Laws are simply made to abuse the innocent when they, the powers that be, decide to enforce them.

So I ask you to show your support for America and its Constitution and do not vote for a Republican or a Democrat. I am sure you can find a third party candidate to vote for, if not write one in. The point is to vote third party to ensure our voice is heard. The politicians may not hear it at first but I guarantee the media will. Just think of all the attention independents are getting in this election.

Speaking of the Media. Can anyone point to a clip or writing by anybody important that asked a simple question to the powers that be trying to sell the bailout, if the bailout was constitutional?
